Simple public language 

The centre performs certification, training and language audit activities in the field of simplifying the Polish language in use by Polish companies and offices. The Centre for Simple Polish has provided services to such entities as ZUS Social Insurance Institution, National School of Public Administration, Ministry of Finance or the Commissioner for Human Rights. The activities of the centre are increasingly simplifying our lives, as evidenced by, among others, the educational campaign whose aim is to streamline written communication on the European Funds so that more people can reach for the European Funds, and the implementation of projects is more efficient – “Simple and period”.

Certificate of Simple Polish – if you want to officially check whether your texts meet the standards of simple Polish. You can brag about your certificate on your documents and website – who wouldn’t want to? 

Motivational and educational lectures – when you want to feel the idea of simple official language, watch the metamorphosis of texts or learn the main principles of writing. The lecture is held in a remote form, you will spend two hours with us on your favourite couch with a cup of coffee or tea in your hand. 

Training – on the principles of simplifying an official letter – with a piece of paper and something to write on in hand or with a computer. For this pleasure. you must reserve one day for us. 

Language audit – when you want to find out what your communication is like. We analyse text samples and create a report with conclusions and recommendations. Analyses range from one page to as many pages of text as you choose. 

Course for experts in simple Polish in the office – an advanced series of workshops ending with an exam. With a certificate of simple Polish, course participants can act as language experts (professional simplificationists) in their offices.

dr . hab. Tomasz Piekot 
Linguist and communication specialist, interpersonal and social communication coach, academic teacher at the Institute of Polish Studies of the University of Wrocław, head and co-founder of the Centre for Simple Polish at the University of Wrocław, editor of Oblicza Komunikacji scientific journal. 

dr Marcin Poprawa 
Assistant Professor in the Department of Contemporary Polish Language at the Institute of Polish Studies at the University of Wrocław, since 2012 also a member of the research team of the Centre for Simple Polish at the University of Wrocław, co-author of the guidebook for civil servants on fundraising texts and editor of Oblicza Komunikacji scientific journal. 

dr Grzegorz Zarzeczny 
Author of several dozen texts on teaching Polish as a foreign language, discourse analysis and plain Polish, assistant professor at the Institute of Polish Studies of the University of Wrocław, lecturer at the National School of Public Administration and the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution. 

dr Marta Śleziak 
Assistant professor at the Department of Polish Language History of the Institute of Polish Studies of the University of Wrocław, Polish language teacher, member of teams of two centres: the Centre for Simple Polish and the Centre for Spoken Polish, conducts training courses and workshops on effective communication, since 2018, the academic supervisor of Student Scientific Association of Linguistics of the University of Wrocław.
