The Centre for Technology Transfer is a university unit established to support the scientific and technological potential of the University of Wrocław and the transfer of scientific results to the economy. The primary focus of this unit is the direct commercialisation of research results.
It is worth remembering the vital role of technology transfer centres. Although they deal with contacts with business, they are not purely business entities, such as special purpose companies. Their nature is more advisory and supportive. They directly support scientists in acquiring funds for innovative research, organising formal conditions for cooperation with industry, commercialising and promoting research results.

- receiving support in identifying research results that could be transferred and commercialised and assessing the market potential of the results;
- obtaining formal and legal support at the stage of creating the documentation necessary to initiate scientific and research cooperation and in other activities related to the development of contacts with external entities and initiation of joint research projects;
