LABORATORY FOR THERMAL ANALYSES
The laboratory performs measurements by means of the following methods:
- DSC – recording DSC spectra (thermal dependence of sample heating power) along with determining the following parameters: temperatures and enthalpies of phase transitions and glass transition temperatures; measurement conditions: possible heating and cooling (scanning) rate 0.01÷750°C/min at temperatures -170÷500°C on sample masses 0.5÷30 mg in helium atmosphere of 6.0 purity;
- TGA-DTA – measuring mass loss (Δm) and thermal effects (DTA) when heating the sample (mass up to 15 mg) from 30°C to maximum 1500°C for heating rates of 2, 5, 10°C/min (or a specially ordered rate) in N2 or synthetic air (40% O2 + 60% N2);
