WRO-MIN INDEPENDENT CENTRE FOR GEOLOGICAL SERVICES
The centre offers services in:
- executing projects, documentation, studies and geological, hydrogeological, and sozological maps;
- conducting geological studies in engineering geology, hydrogeology and shallow bedrock geophysics;
- preparing water balances, including evaporation, precipitation and infiltration;
- investigating filtration parameters and identifying waterlogging zones;
- performing and evaluating hydrogeological opinions;
- performing hydrogeological modelling;
- performing permeability tests on cohesive materials;
- producing polished petrographic examination specimens;
- determining stable isotope concentrations of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen;
- performing measurements of natural radionuclide content;
- performing petro-archaeological studies of supplied natural and industrial samples;
- performing the petrographic testing of rocks, aggregates, building materials and archaeological materials;
- performing analysis of rocks in microprobe preparations using a scanning electron microscope with a module for co-located Raman spectroscopy measurements;
- performing analyses of the presence of asbestos in supplied samples;
- performing the specialised testing of soil pavement;
- performing the cathodoluminescence imaging of rock samples in microscope preparations;
- performing the microfacial analysis of carbonate sediments;
- performing geochemical studies to trace the origin and migration of thermal waters.
